Dual Camera Battery Backup

Dual V-Mount Camera battery plates and status/selection LEDs

This function allows camera V-Mount (AB optionally) batteries to be used as backup power for the Boothkit unit. In testing we found a 150w battery will power the system for around 90 minutes.

Boothkit power system uses AC internal DC 15v supply first, then looks for the XLR 12v 4-pin, then looks for Camera battery #1, then Camera battery #2. This is seamless active DC switching.

RGB LEDs will indicate from Green to Red the voltage level of each battery. You can cycle batteries to maintain continuous operation if AC power fails or if you simply need battery only operation.

System will only discharge camera battery down to 10 volts and not drain the battery beyond that.   System will not switch back to a dead battery even if the voltage floats back up.  Only removal of the dead battery resets selection qualification. Single battery or tandem battery drain can be selected.
